The idea behind the solution: The starting point for building this new offering arose from the need for corporations that needed to innovate but did not have enough time to hire a specialized consulting service for this type of work. Therefore, we established that a period of three weeks would be ideal to move from a starting point and generate ideas ready to be validated to proceed in the innovation process. Problem: Executives and managers often find it challenging to implement innovations in their companies or corporations and face difficulties in envisioning the future of their businesses. In addition, they may struggle to generate viable and categorized ideas for the desired future, which can increase the risk of the mapped solutions being unfeasible.

Preparation: To be well prepared for the service creation, several steps and in-depth studies regarding innovation and facilitation of dynamics were necessary: • Development of a sales pitch to present to C-Levels and check the market acceptance of the offer; • Interviews with potential interested parties in the solution aimed at gathering concerns and points for improvement; • Deepening in existing theories and methodologies; • Development of proprietary diagrams to execute the innovation processes; • Modeling of a Playbook in Notion and Blueprint in Miro, with the description and steps of the entire process. About the project: Profound™ Innovation Sprint (PIS) is a methodology aimed at helping companies generate innovative solutions and build an initiative plan that impacts the market and their customers. Lasting 3 weeks and based on the concepts of design thinking and agile thinking, it aims to stimulate the client's team to think about the desired future through innovation horizons.

Steps of PIS: When acquiring the service, clients participate in a qualitative interview to conduct an initial analysis of the level of maturity of innovation in their company. Next, two cycles of workshops are held to stimulate the client’s team to generate initiatives based on innovation horizons. At the end of the process, clients receive a prepared material to execute validations and experiments in the next phase of the journey. The Sprint (a 3-week cycle) is divided into three stages: Discovery: Research and interviews to immerse in the client and understand their problems and corporate desires regarding innovation. Innovation: Two cycles of workshop dynamics with the client's team participation to generate innovation initiatives. Profound: Analysis and innovation plan: data processing, delivery of a bank of initiatives, and an innovation plan with indication of next steps and connection with partner startup networks. Deliverables and Benefits for the client: • Viable solutions prioritized based on the ICE Score and categorized by Horizon of Innovation; • Greater team integration, thanks to discussions stimulated during the workshops; • Time savings in planning and creating a tactical innovation plan; • Practical, applicable, and easy-to-follow step-by-step (in Notion); • A bank of initiatives as a continuous pipeline for validation and experimentation of solutions. Continuous evolution: The opportunity tree has been a tool used to aid in the evolution of the service as a whole. At the end of each sprint, key points perceived by participants and the team are considered as opportunities for improvement, to be transformed into solutions and potential experiments.

My involvement in the project: As the Product Designer leading the project, I was involved in all stages of the service creation process, from start to finish. From the initial stages of Discovery, Research, and UX focusing on developing a methodology based on Design Thinking and service validation rounds, to the phases of Prototyping, UI, and final delivery including stakeholder interviews, facilitation of innovation dynamics, and understanding the client's business. Responsible team: • Luciano Alpes (Product Designer) • Carolina Moro (Product Manager) • Lais Lima (Associate Product Manager) • Cecília Oliveira (Associate Product Manager) • Company: DIWE Tools Used: • Miro (initial structuring of the process and platform for facilitating the dynamics) • Notion (documentation of all processes and deliverable for the client) • Figma (visual identity of the service and creation of the diagrams used in the process) • Hubspot (central communication with all stakeholders involved in the process)
